Maria Brodskaya is a singer, songwriter, pianist and violinist, as well as an actress and photo model.

She was born into a family of professional musicians in the Russian town of Belgorod. At the age of four Maria began studying music, playing the violin and piano. By the age of seven she began writing music and with her first two songs she won her first composer award at the famous Ukrainian contest "Young composers" in Kiev (Ukraine). By now Maria is a winner of many contests as a singer and songwriter. She has performed in Moscow (Russia), Kiev (Ukraine), Berlin (Germany), Copenhagen (Danmark), Buenos Aires (Argentina).

Maria has recently recorded her debute album “Apple-Moon”. This is the mix of pop, soul, slavic folk, jazz and ambient music. It unites the modern and ancient musical traditions. East and West. Maria's music is influenced by Dionne Warwick, Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Bob James, Sade, Sting, as well as slavic folk music...

Now "Apple-Moon" airs on 14 radio stations (US and UK).

In her album Maria is acting not only as a singer and songwriter, but also as a piano-and-violin-player, and an author of some arrangements of her songs, as well.
